This is
Camp Darryl!
The Camp Darryl Basketball Academy (CDBA) travel basketball program may not
be for everyone. We hope and expect that those who do accept our invitation
to participate will develop a sense of pride and loyalty to the CDBA.
Participants in the CDBA share the same ideas and are committed to ensure
that all active members experience the sense of devotion that we have.
After your playing days within the program are over, we'd like nothing more than
for you to look back fondly and with great satisfaction that you were once a
part of the Camp
Darryl Basketball
Academy.

PLAYER
INFORMATION(U-15 through U-17):
The Camp Darryl Basketball Academy(CDBA), participates in a competitive
travel basketball environment. We hold tryouts prior to each session(year). Depending on a player's level of skill and
commitment to basketball, the player may be invited to become a member of the
CDBA.
All boys in grades 8 through 11 are invited to take part in our tryout.
Players who demonstrate the essential ability, attitude, work ethic, and
respect for other players, our staff, and other participants may be invited
to become a member of the CDBA.
With accepting this invitaion comes
a set of expectations. The player's time and dedication are critical. An
understanding of what it means to be a part of a team; team pursuits often
require that individuals must adjust personal goals and adapt to fit within
the team concept.
A POSITIVE ATTITUDE is crucial! This is not only evident in a player's
willingness go hard in each practice and games, but also off the court. This
is also evident in the way that teammates, coaches, parents, teachers, and
others are treated and respected.
Your commitment to the CDBA is important. We do understand that many players
have other endeavors. We're ok with these endeavors unless they conflict with
the player commitment to the CDBA. This can be disruptive to the team, but
more importantly, it can inhibit to the player's basketball growth.
Our session for our U-15 through U-17 teams runs March 29 through July 31 (we
don't play or practice in June).
